Brokerage is a community living base for people with intellectual disabilities in Oregon.

In order for people with intellectual disabilities to live safely in the community, It is necessary to respect the intentions and wishes of the person, such as who, where, and how they will live, and to provide support while cooperating with case worker, personal assistance, workplaces, families, friends, and local residents.  The purpose of this study is to verify the role of service coordinators who support the community life of people with intellectual disabilities in Portland, Oregon, and to apply it to the service provision system of the community life support base for people with disabilities in Japan.                                                                                                                                                                                                     *This research is supported by JSPS Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research JP19K02223.
